Sweeneys Wine Merchants has been delivering a wine service on the North-Side of Dublin since 1955.
We are a family run business with a real passion for wine and for providing excellent service to our customers.

At the National Off Licence Awards we won the prestigious "Off Licence of the Year" for 2011 - so Sweeney's is officially the best Off Licence in Ireland! 

Whether or not Christmas is coming, at Sweeneys we would be more than happy to cater for your Corporate Gift needs - we have a vast range of products from which you can choose including premium beers glass sets, wine, spirits and delicious food items such as Sheridans Cheese and Scullery products. All our gifts are presented using the highest quality wrapping paper, boxes and hampers at affordable prices. 

We can personalise your gifts with tasting notes on your headed paper to address your gift to that special client.

We supply wines from entry level through to fine wines to the retail and wholesale segments.
We stock a comprehensive range of wines, around 1000 lines encompassing all the major wine areas of the world. (see wine range)
Our aim is to help our customers learn about our wines and we have regular tastings through our wine club and we run wine courses to this end. We also have themed tastings at weekends and seasonal wine fairs – keep an eye out in our latest news section for upcoming events.
For Corporate accounts there is a selection of gifts and packages available to offer customers.

We also stock an eclectic range of speciality beers as well as the major brands.

Sheridans Cheese and Accompaniments

We have now branched out are currently stocking a various range of Sheridan's Cheesemongers cheese's and accompaniments and Cecinas Pablo meats such as Serrano Ham, Cured Loin and Chorizo all from Leon in Spain. The cheese's are from Ireland, England, France, Spain and Italy. Some of the delicious range we stock are : Comte Extra, Ardrahan, Emmental Swiss, Bleu D'Auvergne, Gruyere Reserve 12 months, Durrus Og, Manchego 6 months, Shropshire Blue, Taleggio, Parmigiano, Cashel Blue Mature, Gubbeen, St Killian, Brie de Meaux and Reblochon.

To accompany these delicious cheeses are various crackers, biscuits and chutneys: Millers Damsels Three seeds & Rye Crackers and Dittys Walnut & Oatcake biscuits and Sheridans Apple & Plum Chutney, Sheridans Dolcetto wine jelly and Moscato wine jelly.

If your still hungry we have a range of food items such as pasta and sauces and pestos: Spaghetti, Tagliatelle, Penne Rigate & Fusillotti, Organic Passate, Organic crushed tomato sauce and organic basil pesto and organic red pesto. We also stock Priorat Natur Neus Extra Virgin Olive Oil and various snacks such as Lapsnacks Chilli Puffs, Siena nuts and seeds, Habas Fritas and fresh lemonades.
